Terrific Weekend

Weekend started early this week... Took two days off to particpate in SICCI conference. As usual expectation were higher than reality... we The Post-grads were asked to usher people back and forth from conference hall to dining hall.. though lot of networking opportunity but no sooner than name card was flashed with a Student written on it, people will just disappeared. I had to wear different guises to engage people, one time I was India specialist consultant, other time I was Management Researcher studying Sin-ind relationship blah blah blah...

Friday- Chatted online with friends, I guess online Chatting/ instant message is the best thing after Slice bread ( as if I care) ..and to add this now IMs have pics, and emoticons ...which further help understand someone emotions and relate to the person's expression... well things with this friend usually not a person to speak openly about self which is not attributed to inabilty to express but unwillingness to pour the heart out....

Well going on a tangent here -- we all want that perfect person in our life, when we dream or wish we wish for a person who maps with our perception of right person. This right person always have a face - which is mirror of beautiful/perfect people we have seen growing up. That is, my perfect person physical description was an Indian girl with big eyes, long hairs, sharp nose, high cheekbones ( not anymore though)...The physical part of our perception tends to overshadow the inner beauty of perfect person that we seek, hence longing for one of our own kind till until we understand the supremacy of mind over matter ....


Saturday- cheng decided not to go to SICCI, and I decided to tread along and slept real good on Saturday morning and then we managed to corner MR and unearth a secret that I knew for long.

Then it happened Saturday night.. a polite SMS from SAB, he asked me to come to his room... Well it was mother of all good news I have heard in long time after news of my sis marriage.. SAB and mins are gonna have a baby soon.... Gee I could see how happy they were and after their ordeal in past few days..

Well I am happy for both and as I said the kid(sab) is gonna have a kid. He needs to be more patient with mins. He is good with kids :-) though

I thought Sunday would be uneventful and everything supposed to happen had happened... it was uneventful till around 10PM when I got an email from Ms AV she is in town and wants to meet..Easy guys she ain't no old flame or anything just an acquaintance... I am surprised she remembered me... I am taken aback with such nice gesture.
Will meet her today...let's see how it goes...
back to work...
